  • Maya Tolstoy will be the 2016 Birch Lecturer

    Maya Tolstoy (Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory) will be the 2016 Birch Lecturer, speaking on “Taking the Pulse of Mid-Ocean Ridges”.  The lecture will take place on Wednesday, December 14th during 16:00 – 17:00 hrs in Moscone South, Room 104. The Birch Lecture is given annually at the Fall Meeting to highlight cutting-edge research in tectonophysics.
